What does our organisation do? Fahrten-Ferne-Abenteuer Ferienwerk is a non-profit limited corporation, which organises adventure-based learning trips for children and youths aged 4-18 years during the Bavarian school holidays. We were founded by a scout group and still prefer going camping to staying in a house. We love being outdoors, having campfires and exploring nature. Most of the trips take place in Bavaria but a few tours also take place in other places in Germany and Europe.
What would my tasks be? During the Bavarian school holidays, you would accompany the trips and support the team by helping with the cooking, going food shopping, looking after the children and other organisational tasks. Outside of the school holidays, you work in our office and support the employees with their daily tasks.
When does the EVS begin? We are looking for a volunteer who can start as soon as possible because then he*she would be involved in all preparations for the year right from the beginning. If you can’t start straight away, contact us and tell us what your earliest start date would be, we’re sure we can find a solution together.

Was machen wir? Fahrten-Ferne-Abenteuer Ferienwerk ist ein gemeinnütziger Anbieter von erlebnispädagogisch orientierten Ferienfreizeiten und Ferienbetreuungen für Kinder und Jugendliche zwischen 4 und 18 Jahren. Unsere Veranstaltungen finden überwiegend in Bayern, für die Älteren aber auch in Deutschland und Europa statt.
Was wären meine Aufgaben? Außerhalb der bayerischen Schulferien, bist du im Büro und unterstützt die Mitarbeiterinnen bei ihren täglichen Aufgaben. Gerne kannst du auch ein eigenes Projekt starten und daran arbeiten. In den Schulferien fährst du mit auf Freizeit und unterstützt das Team vor Ort beim Kochen, Einkaufen, bei der Betreuung der Kinder und Jugendlichen, bei organisatorischen Aufgaben und mehr.
Wann geht es los? Der EFD Platz ist ab sofort verfügbar. Ein zeitnaher Beginn ist sinnvoll, da du so alle Vorbereitungen mitbekommst. Nach Rücksprache ist auch ein späterer Start möglich.
